It might sound odd when talking about Estates and Trusts, but we love what we do! So few lawyers enjoy their day-to-day work, but I have assembled a group of attorneys and paralegals that enjoy this niche practice. We are laser-focused on estate law and on helping our clients achieve their goals. We purposefully remain a boutique firm, rather than being swallowed up by one of the mega-firms that would love to have us. When considering law firms, bigger isn’t always better. One person, such as yourself, can easily be lost in the shuffle if a firm has too many clients or too many areas of practice. Law firms that focus on other sectors, like corporate work or real estate, can quickly put their estate planning clients on the back burner. When you become our client, you are essential to us. Estate law is all we do!

“Peter and his team are great to work with. They make estate planning so easy and painless. They answered all of my questions clearly and helped me understand the best way to handle complicated finances and things like real estate investments. Thank you Klenk Law!!”
For over 25 years, I have built a legal practice based on the idea that law is a service industry. To succeed in the long-run, clients must come first. We must listen carefully to client concerns, include them in the decision-making process, and explain this complex area of the law in easy to understand terms.
You come first. We make this process convenient and adjust our schedule to work for you. We work weekends and evenings by appointment. Our main office is in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square. Still, we have meeting locations close to you, whether you are in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, Bucks, Camden, Burlington, Berks, Lehigh, or Lancaster Counties. We also have meeting locations around all of New Jersey and in New York City. We can even come to your home or meet via Skype or Facetime. Whatever is more convenient for you, we will make it happen.
I believe in transparency. Our fees are straightforward and fair. It has taken years of education and experience to reach our level of knowledge, for which we charge a fee. But, I also understand that if I cost too much or don’t provide excellent service, our clients will move to another firm. I believe we have arrived at an equitable balance.
Our mission is to make estate planning, probate, and even estate litigation as pain-free as possible, and after 25 successful years, this formula seems to be working.

“Had our will done with Peter and his team. Made the process super easy and understandable. His team lead by Laura Parisi were always available for questions and assistance. Professional and personable they made what can be a challenging experience hopeful and graceful. Cannot recommend their services enough!”
With the client in mind, I have divided my estate planning firm into three areas:
By listening to our clients, we address their estate planning concerns and needs efficiently. One of our core strengths is explaining complex tax or asset protection techniques in an easily understood way.
Not satisfied with the estate planning education that I received in law school, I obtained a Masters in Law (LL.M.) focused on taxation from the prestigious New York University School of Law. It took me years to complete this degree, traveling to New York City evenings following a full day as a member of the U.S. Navy JAGC stationed in Philadelphia. It was exhausting, but the effort was worth it.
This advanced degree and years of experience provide me with an in-depth knowledge of estate planning and asset protection techniques not possessed by most attorneys.
I recognize that the time following the death of a loved one can be confusing and complicated. The multitude of issues that follow a death can vary from the sale of real estate, traversing family history minefields, or even unraveling complex tax problems. Most executors are unfamiliar with probate’s complexities, and I see it as my firm’s job to reduce the executor’s burden and to help bring the estate to a swift conclusion.
To address this varied area of the law, I have assembled a team of attorneys, paralegals, and tax preparers who focus exclusively on probate matters. This focus allows them to quickly, efficiently, and economically assist the executor in probating the estate.
Sometimes the only way to solve a conflict is to take the matter to court. With that in mind, I have assembled a litigation team whose sole focus is will challenges and other estate-related litigation matters. This is What We Do! We’ll work with you to strategize, analyze, and keep the process moving in the right direction.
Early on in my practice, I realized that litigation in estate matters could not be a part-time job, which is why my firm is one of the few to have a dedicated estate litigation team. The personality of an excellent litigator is very different from that of an attorney who is skilled in probate matters. When faced with an estate litigation matter, hiring an attorney who only handles Will Challenge and Estate Law conflict cases is far better than working with a lawyer who attempts to handle these issues part-time.
We try to be very clear about what your expectations should be and don’t over-promise. The truth is that not all battles are worth fighting. We will give you a realistic assessment of the situation, including costs, so you can make an informed decision. We rely on our years of experience handling estate law matters to guide you with confidence.

Peter offers excellent service in a easy friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!
I can't tell you how satisfied I am with this law firm. They were competent and helped me with a very difficult situation. They got the job done in a timely fashion and I am so happy I found them. If you find yourself in a difficult and contentious probate situation I highly recommend this firm. There is just no way I could have had this positive outcome without them. I worked with 2 different lawyers prior to hiring them and neither of them could get the job done like Klenk. Daniella Horn was a pleasure to work with and highly competent.
I've been through the process of creating and revising estate documents several times over the years and it's never been easier than it was with Peter Klenk. Always available and a master at explain arcane tax and legal issues in plain English for "dummies". I recommend the firm without reservation.
We have been using Klenk law for a decade. Always good advice and fast execution. Highly recommended!
